It’s Beauty Period

Hey hey!
As my first post I want to give a little more of an introduction of myself and build upon my About page.
The purpose of It’s Beauty Period is to simply share Beauty, Fashion, and sometimes even Life from my point of view. I am in my twenties so I’ve lived a little bit but not too much, but enough to have some life experience. 🙂
When it comes to beauty and specifically cosmetics I am quite sensitive. Whether it’s a face, eyes, or lip product, I experience sensitivity. Breakouts, swollen eyelids, red/watery eyes, and swollen lips, you name it I have gone through it. Unfortunately as much as I read labels making sure it’s dermatologist tested, non-acnegenic, non-comedodenic, and fragrance-free certain products still cause a breakout. Sometimes as long as it’s fragrance-free I am in the clear it all really depends.
Honestly the better the brand the better the product. Yes, a lot of times you are paying just for the brand but more times than not, products are more expensive because they have higher quality ingredients. I can say that as soon as I started to spend a little more money on my makeup and even moisturizer, I noticed a big difference in my complexion and amount of breakouts– as in they were gone.
I’ll be posting about products I’ve tried that didn’t work for me, products that did, and those that are on my wish list. I am definitely big on doing my research before I even walk into a Sephora, Ulta, Macy’s, or wherever they sell the product I am looking into. This saves time once you’re in the store since you already have either a product or short-list of products in mind.
This post was a little all over the place but that’s just me! Now that you have a better idea of me and from what perspective I will be writing, I hope that this blog helps you in some way and even entertains you.
Thanks for reading!
